Angus Primrose designed classic along the same lines as the Moody 30, only with more space, the Truman 30 is a very interesting yacht. The Truman 30 was built by Nick Truman Yachts of Lowestoft to an Angus Primrose design, sharing hull and deck mouldings with the Moody 30 of the same era.

The Truman 30 provides benerous accomodation for her length sleeping up to a cosy 7 in 2 cabins and the quarter berth:

  • Fwd cabin with large V berth with infill to make a double, smaller part of infill lowers to make a dressing seat over a smalll locker. Large storage space beneath the berths and deep shelving above. Large opening hatch, 2 lights and 240V outlet. curtain rail for seperator
  • Head with Lavac style sea toilet, moulded GRP basin and worktop, H/C water system with shower, teak grating vent and light
  • Passageway with full length hanging locker (also stowage for saloon infill) further high level locker currently utilised for 240V fridge, vent and light, curtain rail for seperator
  • Saloon with good natural light, central opening hatch, L shaped settee berth to starboard with solid infill to provide a good double berth, storage beneath and behind with a further shelf above. Single settee berth (with trotter box) to port again with storage beneath and behind with a further shelf above with 12V socket. Lovely deep fiddled Teak table with large central storage and a fold over leaf to port
  • Galley to port with a Flavel 2 burner, oven and grill cooker, single bowl SS sink with pressurised water and mystery switch, large space with removable cool box, small unit with worktop, cutlery drawer and locker to the right and large worktop, with huge locker beneath to the left, further storage behind with sliding smoked acrylic doors and further cup / plate storage on the bulkhead
  • Navigation area to starboard with a good size chart table with storage inside, Navigators seat with storage beneath and good 2 shelves above 
  • Quarter berth aft to starboard is a good size single or a cosy double.
  • Externally is a good size deep cockpit with 2 safety line points, teak grating and a large cockpit locker with gas bottle storage moulding
